TARGET:HS Student Question

A student in my HS is doing a persuasive essay  on the possibility of
our Literary Magazine (called Eidolon, now an after school activity)
becoming an actual class next year.  He has asked me to ask anyone on
the listserv who could help the following questions to help with his
argument:
1.  Are there any schools with journalism classes that not only produce
the school newspaper but also the school literary magazine?  Or any
other literary products?
2.  If you have any information as to numbers of students enrolled in
the classes, could you supply those as well?
