I'm Akiko TOKAI, a graduate student in International Relations at
Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto, Japan. I'm currently working on a
Master's thesis re. non-organizational peace projects and I would like
to request your assistence by posting a message on the list.

I hope to contact teachers and librarians who participated in the
'95 & '96 Paper Crane Project Ms Sharon O'Connell (a media specialist
at Skaneateles Middle School) started; I'm thinking of using the
project which I was involved in, too, as a translator in Hiroshima,
as a good example of creative collective action. And a voice of each
participant would help me understand it from various aspects.
Thanks to Ms O'Connell who kindly provided me with an address list
of the participants, I sent them an email or a regular postal mail
requesting them to answer a few questions if they would be willing.

Fortunately I got a response from about thirty participants so far.
I, however, have not heard from the majority partly because some email
and street addresses were obsolete. Therefore I would be very grateful
if you could post a message asking those who did not hear from me to
email me directly at an address below by indicating whether or not they
are willing to answer a few questions. (All individual responses will be
kept confidential and will be used only for research purposes.)

Thank you very much for your help in advance. If you have any
questions,or if the request above is OK with you, please let me know.

Best regards,
Akiko Tokai
