I am taking a sudden and unexpected trip to Anchorage next week. If =
anyone from Alaska is out there, please let me know what I should take =
to wear. I'm coming up from Texas where cold weather means 40 degrees.=20
Is it easy to get buses and cabs to get around? Is it better to do that =
than rent a car and drive in the snow??
I am working on plans for a school project during the start of the =
Iditarod. If I understand it, the start of the race is in Anchorage. Is =
there a museum about the race in the city? Are there places to go get =
information and details about the race?
Where would be the best central location to stay in Anchorage? Are rooms =
expensive, if so, where is a good low-cost hotel, or Bed and Breakfast?
I would appreciate any information you might share about Anchorage. This =
trip is at the last moment, and I am trying to prepare in a few days.=20
