Hallo, this is Suby's daughter Ginna again. A few people asked me to post a hit when I received the poem, and I got SO many responses, I thank you all so much! So here's the poem, it's by William Carlos Williams. >This is Just to Say > >I have eaten >the plums >that were in >the icebox > >and which >you were probably >saving >for breakfast > >Forgive me >they were delicious >so sweet >and so cold Now I have another -- I'm pretty sure the title is "Warning" (or something similar) and the first two lines are: When I am an old woman I shall wear purple with a red hat which doesn't go and doesn't suit me. Does anyone know the poem and author? Thank you again so much! Love to you all, Ginna =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
