Dear LM_NETters: I need to draw on your collective wisdom! I have received a query from one of my schools about policies regarding authors who wish to sell their books at the school at which they are invited to speak. The principal at the school in question does not approve of the visiting author selling copies of his/her book at the school. 1. How does your school handle this situation? (I am interested in both pro and con positions.) 2. Do you have a written policy that speaks to this? 3. If you do, could I have a copy? (FAX number is below in sigfile.) I will be glad to compile a HIT and post to LM_NET. thanks. ruth dahlstrom -- Ruth Dahlstrom Ph.: 512-573-0731x267 Library/Technology Specialist FAX: 512-576-4804 Region III ESC Mailto:rdahl@esc3.net 1905 Leary Ln.
