LM_NET: Library Media Networking

Hi,
I was temporarially off lm_net while most of this discussion was taking
place, but in reading over the comments I did see, one issue seems to not
have been mentioned.  With the expansion of networks and access points to
library resources spread through out the school building, and in some
cases even from student's homes, counting heads as they enter the media
center becomes a less and less meaningful measure of "use".  Documenting
use and impact of media center materials and programs are important,
however, we need to use meaningful statistics.  I doubt the report being
cited provides meaningful measurements given the changes in  access
patterns.
