A parent of a 9 year old fourth grader is very upset with the = content of two books she brought home ( Anastasia Krupnik Ask Your = Analyst and Alice in Rapture Sort Of). How best to diplomatically yet = firmly defend our position of having books with a recommended reader = level of 5-8 available in a 3-5 school? ( Just this year we went from = being a K-6 school to a 3-5) Any suggestions or input would be greatly appreciated as this is a = new problem for me.
