Hit:Oral cue

I only received one suggestion to my query re:oral cues for I LOVE TO READ
MONTH. The idea to use the theme from "Reading Rainbow" is a terrific idea
for K-Gr. 6. To announce reading time on the special days for junior high
however I have decided to go with, either the bellring from the beginning
or end of a boxing match, or the starting sounds of a horse race, with "And
they're off". Note - these are to remind students of extra  reading times
on special days, not for their usual silent reading times, or buddy reading
times. Just thought I'd let you know.
