> From: the browns <vbpaula@EROLS.COM> > Subject: Elementary video yearbook > > We are transitioning two grades that were part of the Middle School back to the >Elementary and looking for new rites and rights of passage. Realizing that suddenly the Middle School yearbook will exclude this group it occured to me to try to pull together the first video yearbook honoring our new upper level fifth grader and to involve these 50 or so kids in the process. Has anyone out there done this with classes or do you know of good software for such a project at this level? We do have old VHS footage but our media specialist doubts he'd have the time. I'm rusty but willing. Graduating with a portfolio disc yearbook seemed good except more kids still have access to a VCR than to a computer to view such an endproduct as a yearbook. We use IBM compatibles but have no digital cameras yet. Thoughts?
