TARGET: extension activities for BIRDY

Hello Friends:

A sixth grade teacher in my school has chosen CATHERINE CALLED BIRDY as a
class novel to enrich their study of the Middle Ages.  She is wondering if
any teachers or media specialists have come up with extension activities
which were popular with kids of this age group.

If you have anything to share, it would be most appreciated!
