I received many suggestions for titles in this area. I do not know how to
do a hit, so will just write author and title. Thanks to everyone for
your help.

Avi Nothing but the truth
Bloor Tangerine
Salisbury Under the blood red sun
Taylor The Cay
Ruby Skin deep
Taylor Roll of thunder, hear my cry; Let the circle be unbroken,
                  etc.
Sebestyen Words by heart
Arrick Chernowitz (excellent)
Paulsen Nightjohn
Spinelli Crash
Watkins So far from the bamboo grove
Armstron Steal away
Collier War comes to Willy Freeman; Jump ship to freedom

Kincaid Crossing blood
Krisher Spite fences
Lee To kill a mockingbird
Lester This strange new feeling; Long journey home
Marin The Day that Elvis came to town
Meyer White lilacs
Sanders Clover
Talbert When we were colored
Voigt Come a stranger
Woilkinson Ludell
Williams Crocodile burning
Wolf Make lemonade
Woodson From the notebooks of Melanin Sun; I had'nt meant to tell
                                                        you this

Not having read all of these, I would, of course, urge you to preview
them first for their suitability. This was particularly recommended for
Crossing Blood and Spite Fences as she felt they were well written, but
powerful stuff.

A couple of web sites were also given.

www.annefrankonbroadway.com go to resources section

http://www.wcsu.k12.vt.us/~wardsboro/lists.htm#lists

A video was also recommended. Through the eyes of Howard Gray. It was
available a few years ago from:

People on Board
P.O. Box 231
Glenford, N.Y. 12433
ph 914-657-2681
fx 914-657-2914

This, of course, just scratches the surface. I do appreciate the effort
so many of you make to help me with this project.

Thanks,

Jan
