It is probably better for the equipment and connectors if it is not
moved more than necessary.  Our school policy is not to move them. We
see it as a greater security risk to gather them in a single location
than leave them in the classrooms for two reasons:
1] by gaining access to a single location someone will have access to
all the equipment.
2] one or two missing pieces are more likely to be overlooked in a room
full of equipment than in a classroom where they are in plain sight.

If they will be used in another location for training, that would be
another matter, but to move them at the end of the year just so they
can be moved again at the beginning of the year seems unnecessary.
