Hello everyone... After reading the haiku contribution, I was distracted enough to compose a few of my own ... please excuse me if they do not fit the pattern exactly. . . All of my own doing, so use them as you like... see my signature block... A few library ones at the end only we could appreciate... *** Reflections *** - - - - - - - - - - - - Competitors come. Computers abound cheaply. Oh No! Not Windows! - - - - - - - - - - - - Many kids compute. Use catalog and Inet. Sticky keys remain. - - - - - - - - - - - - Computer gods live. After restore and reboot. "My Novel" is found! - - - - - - - - - - - - Dinosaurs did rule. Ruthless tyrants ate others. Much like computers. - - - - - - - - - - - - Squinting in the night. Lightning darkened the town. Only laptops work. - - - - - - - - - - - - Met online at eight. Self-described as stunning... Hmmmm, blue eyes or green? - - - - - - - - - - - - Database training. Fields, records, and long fieldnames. Where did data go? - - - - - - - - - - - - Spreadsheet training class. Formulas and many cells. What is 2 times 2? - - - - - - - - - - - - Much work to do now. Haiku more fun than study. Paper due Monday! - - - - - - - - - - - - Librarianship. Dewey order from chaos. AACR2! - - - - - - - - - - - - Library at night. Books to shelve and catalog. What!? No overtime? - - - - - - - - - - - - Catalog crashed! Get out your cards and pencils. Where is the backup? - - - - - - - - - - - - Teach reading basics. After C, E before I. Otherwise, I first! - - - - - - - - - - - - Kids are great readers! Always making teachers laugh. Book: Run the stilts in! - - - - - - - - - - - - Kids are good readers! Sometimes making teachers laugh. Book: Findercella. - - - - - - - - - - - - Kids can't read for beans! Are LD and BEH. Teachers cry each night. - - - - - - - - - - - - Libraries do work!
