Several years ago I received material from New York State about something called the "Great American Read-Aloud". A week scheduled in the middle of April for schools to invite guest readers, have students dress up as book characters, and generally to draw attention to our school libraries. Our school participated for a number of years. I have seen nothing recent and wondered whether anyone knows anything about this program. ************************************************************************ Jennifer M.
