GREAT OHIO TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION CONFERENCE
NOVEMBER 4-6, 1998
GREATER COLUMBUS CONVENTION CENTER
COLUMBUS, OHIO

OHIO EDUCATIONAL LIBRARY/MEDIA ASSOCIATION
OHIO EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY SERVICE AGENCIES
AND FASTRACK COMPUTER PRODUCTS


Theme:  Technology Through Time


        Attendees at this Conference include School Library Media
Specialists, Technology Coordinators, Teachers, School Administrators,
Education Paraprofessionals, University Professors, Public Librarians
and others.
        Deadline for submission is March 1, 1998.  Please request a form
from OELMA Central Office, address below.
        Suggested topics would include those which assist educators in
the professional use of electronic technologies, audio-visual and print
media.  These would include, but are not limited to:
 *the Internet and World Wide Web in schools:  Home pages, objectionable
materials, information search strategies;
*Equipment: trouble-shooting, effective use, student use, hardware
demonstrations;
*The "best" materials available for various subject areas, themes,
age-groups, or type of media;
*Good practice for Technology Coordinators and Media Specialists:
techniques, problems and solutions, the new national standards, job
descriptions.
