GEN: Charitable donation of junk vehicles?

I recently read an article about donating junk vehicles to a charitable
organization so they could sell it for scrap and reap the rewards.

Unfortunately, my mind refuses to clue me into which organization it was:
arthritis? kidney foundation? cancer society?

Does anyone out there know what I am talking about?  A fellow teacher needs
the information and school starts again on Monday and I would like to be
able to give him the info.
