Hi everyone,
I am new to LM_Net and ejoyed reading, for the first time, all of the=20
messages-especially the ones about the weather. My greetings from sunny=20
tropical Brazil.
I will be starting a new media center in a tri lignual school here in S=E3o=
=20
Paulo, Brazil and need some advice and a lot of help on using Follett's=20
Unison in such a way that the students, who should be learning English and=
=20
speak Portuguese, can access by subject headings in either language. I plan=
=20
to leave the MARC records of US books in English and do the Brazilians in=20
Portuguese. However, I want my students to get information and not use the=
=20
library for vocabulary practice. If they are looking for something about=20
"Horses" they should also receive anything we have about "Cavalos"
I will think about the Chinese books when they get here. Could anyone=20
suggest a simple way of solving the problem or route me to some librarian=20
who has some experience.
Please let me know if you need any info. on Brazil or the rainforest etc.=20
Thanks for your help.
