Welcome to 1998, everyone! An educational therapist suggested that a copy of "Compact Classics" be purchased for our reference section. I took a quick look at the volume he had )it's a 3 volume paperback set). Basically, it's a compilation of 2 page summaries, much shorter than any Cliff or Barron's notes, on works which are likely to be assigned to secondary and/or college students. I think the idea was to give a pecis, not a pre-digested version. If anyone has familiarity with this set, I'd appreciate a response. Please, I am 100% avoiding the issue of Cliff (and other) Notes. I just want info on this set.
