Hi:
I am in a Turkish High School where students take a majority of their
classes in English. I wondered how other High School Librarians were
cataloging Shakespeare and Biography. Do you use the Dewey Decimal
Classification Edition 20 book which requires Shakespeare to be
cataloged as follows:
 822.33 A for authorship controversies
822.33 B - Biography
822.33 D - Critical appraisal
822.33 O1-2 - All's well that ends well
etc....
and for Biography
921 - Philosophers and Psychologists
923 - Persons in social sciences
925 - Scientists
etc.....

In my previous library (high school in U.S.) Shakespeare books were
cataloged under 822.33 SHA only. Biography was a separate section
under BIO NAP (Person book was about) SHE (author's name).

I would like your opinions about which way to catalog...we are going
to change our library automation software and are thinking about how
these books are presently cataloged and ease of access for our
students.

Thanks for your input.
