The powerful and influencial department head of our awesome business
department has enlisted me to assist him in his following quest:

information on the actual number of companies engaged in commerce on the
internet -
statistics on the evolution of the web, what started as an exchange of
information from the .edu realm, to the .org realm and the almighty .com

how the transformation of telecommunications has affected commerce on the
web - a break down of global and US would be especially impressive.....

any of you out there already invented this wheel?
