GEN: Laser Printer Replacement Suggestions

We want to replace our current GCC-BLPII printer.  It is costing us a
fortune in supplies ($750/yr.) and upkeep (2-3 drums/yr.).

Can anyone recommend a laser writer printer for high intensity use with
lower-cost maintenance?  We are an "Apple school", but hope to become a
"cross-platformed one" soon.
