Some have said that to record items without receiving permission from the publisher is illegal. What if there is a commercial recording available? What if no commercial recording is available? Others have said that recording materials for students who have been identified as learning disabled has been covered by a Federal law which has guidelines for programs for the learning disabled. I am not talking about blind or physically handicapped. I am asking about this as it pertains to those who are identified as learning disabled. I hope that someone on this list has a clarification of this for me.
