REF: water temperature

Hello--I know how to find the average temperatures in various parts of
the world, but does anyone know where to find average WATER
temperatures?  My husband and I are snorkelers--don't like wetsuits--and
are trying to find good locations with warm water!  For instance, water
temps in the South China Sea on the east of peninsular Malaysia are about
82 degrees F.  Lovely.
