I will be having a mystery overnight in our library for 10 middle school
girls.  I am interested in ideas to make this an exciting, suspenseful
evening.  I would like to include several activities, including both dinner
and breakfast the following morning.  We did this in the past and had the
girls make mystery personalities by decorating sunglasses with "stuff" (hot
glue gun).  We took the kids out to dinner where we rewrote the menu to
have mystery selections.  I am interested in knowing if anyone has done
this before or if there is a commercial product that will outline a mystery
event for young people.

I am involved in a "sudden" renovation without much time to plan. The
entire library has to be vacated in 3 weeks. The renovation should take 6-8
weeks.  We plan to set up a temporary library at one end of the cafeteria
(a stage area).
Any do's or don'ts on renovating, library design, a new circulation desk,
new shelving, packing up and running a temporary library for several
months?

Does anyone have Texwood or Lov'n Wood shelving (Demco) and if so, how do
you like it?  What less expensive brands of furniture does anyone have a
comment on?
Good companies to work with as far as library furniture and shelving go?
