SEC: Curriculum Committees

Friends,

I need to do a quick survey regarding secondary school media specialists
serving on their school's curriculum committee.  Would you please send me
privately a statement if you are a member of your curriculum committee
(state if you are also the chair of the committee), or if you are not on
the committee.  If you are not, please tell me why.  If you are on the
committee, I would also appreciate a sentence or two why it is important
that you serve on such a committee.  I would be happy to post a hit if
there is any interest.
