Dear New Friends, My school district is changing (mid-year) to a 9 day specials rotation. The library serves as planning time so I will be teaching 51 (40 minutes each) classes every 9 days. My question to my administrators is how can I get my own administrative tasks (ordering, cataloging, consulting, etc.) done. What percentage of time do you spend on administrative duties? If you could e-mail a response to the following questions it might help me make my case. I have included my own responses. 1. NUMBER OF SCHOOLS/GRADE LEVELS (3 buildings, k-5) 2. STUDENT POPULATION: (590, 384, 300) 3. NUMBER OF AIDES (1, 1/2, 2/3) 4. FIXED OR FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE: Fixed 5. ESTIMATED TIME NEEDED FOR ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS 50% Thanks so much for your help!
