SEC: REF: Oklahoma, Texas, California or The West

I need information from a person (not a book) about some occurance or
event that they remember or heard about from the Dust Bowl era in Oklahoma.
Do you have access to information about the migration to California or the
West concerning the period about which Grapes of Wrath was written.  The
student that needs this information must obtain information from a person
who experienced this or has a story about the period that was "passed down"
to them in their family or community.  She is also interested in any
information about Woody
Guthrie and his connection with that period.
