Lance Jeffers

We are having a very special production in a few weeks for Black History
and one of the teachers needs information about Lance Jeffers to
introduce one of his poems that her class will recite. I have nothing in
my library or on cd-rom about him. Does anyone have a few sentences in a
book or could you direct me to a cite. We would greatly appreciate it.
