An average ninth grade student has handed in a wonderful, flawless essay on animal imagery in _The Pearl,_ and his teacher has serious doubts he could have written it. I've tried searching for websites where I know students can retrieve papers, but they are all blocked by our school's filter. (We're lobbying for a few faculty-only unblocked machines, but that's another subject ;} ). Does this sound familiar to any of you? Can you point me at a website containing a paper on this topic, or do you recognize it from Monarch Notes, perhaps? Thanks for any help you can provide. ||~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\/~~~~~~~~~~~~~~|| || Bonnie | Fulmer || || Spackenkill | High School || || 112 Spack- | enkill Road || || Poughkeepsie, | NY 12603 || || voice: (914) | 463-7810 || || fax: (914) | 463-7817 || || gbf1@maristb.marist.edu || ||______________/\______________|| =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= To quit LM_NET (or set NOMAIL or DIGEST), Send an email message to listserv@listserv.syr.edu In the message write EITHER 1) SIGNOFF LM_NET 2) SET LM_NET NOMAIL or 3) SET LM_NET DIGEST NOTE: Please allow time for confirmation from Listserv.
