Alaskan cruise vacation

Dear LM_NETTERS,
Our family is planning a cruise to Alaska in August beginning at
Vancouver on the Celebrity Line.  Any suggestions, thoughts, do's or
don'ts, side trips ,preliminary reads,etc. we should know about
before we go?
