I think the keyword here is: BACKUP

If you don't do backups, then you may as well keep all your
print versions, card catalog too, because it is not a matter
of IF your system crashes for some reason, it's a matter of
WHEN your system crashes.

If, however, you keep backups (multiple copies) then your
options are much greater.

Do heed the multiple copies advice tho. My system crashed
a few years ago. The first set of backups failed as well.
Thank goodness we had more than one set of backups...
