FLORIDA FOLKS AND THE FIRES!

It's amazing the replies I have received to my orginial post about the
fires in Florida... This is a wonderful bunch of folks "down there" in
the Sunshine state!!!  Sounds like things are getting better... now I
need to knock on wood... fingers crossed, rain dancing!

One media coordinator said her media center had been used as a shelter..
lots of folks from the "non-fire" zones of Florida have sent messages to
say... not just fire that's a problem.. smoke is all over the state.  As
I watch and listen to news, CNN is my homepage, all the damage to homes
and interruptions to lives, it seems to me, all this helps all of us to
center on what's important.. and most of all that's other folks.. their
need and their lives.. and if we listen closely, I'm betting that's what
the new standards say... Folks are what is important!!
