In looking at the PUBYAC archives I found this site mentioned. The Kansas
Summer Reading Handbook has an excellent collection of crafts, activities,
snacks, bulletin boards, and references. Definitely check this one out.

Here are more responses and also some sites that I have found:

These are some sites I found last week when I was doing a star search
for next year. Haven't checked them all completely, but was
particularly pleased with the first one related to family centers....
I sometimes get a bit sidetracked and as I'm the web admin at my
district when I find interesting sites I will often send theme along in
email to myself along with the orginal search, thus I can't guarantee
that every site on the page is star related.

Our theme is to be "Reach for the Stars"

http://www.familycenter.org/stars.htm reach for the stars

http://www.onr.com/tso/reach.html science olympiad

http://www.arapahoelibraries.org/events/stars.html library event

http://www.akcs.com/ppreach.htm saying

The North Bay Cooperative Library System has this page on their web site.
A Cyberlibrarian's collection of Space and Sci-Fi fun!:

The robot graphic on the above page, other robot graphics, and a sound
file are available at Library Media and PR:

I found these at the PUBYAC archives:

URL for Star and Sky storytime theme:

There was also a list of slogans to use with a space theme:

Carol again.
I checked the site mentioned above with the star graphics. It has beautiful
graphics, but it looks to me like it may be a specially designed set. I'm
not an expert on copyright, but I would think that you would need to get
permission before using them since they are the actual design of the web
page. Or maybe they could tell you where they found them. Definitely
worth a look, though.
