Good morning everybody. If you would, share with me briefly your policy regarding how late in the year teachers may assign research papers. I have three teachers assigning papers. I believe they wait this long to make THEIR end of the year easier -- less direct teaching, more student-directed activity. I'm on the same contract as everybody else -- no extra time to wrap up. The last paper is due the 15th -- exactly one week before their last day. This despite my announcement that all materials would be due back to me on or before June 1. Do any of you have a policy in place that allows you to "let the dust settle" before you wrap up for the school year? TIA. Back to work...
