This is another Internet rumour that's been blown completely out of
proportion.

1) This trick (90#) would only work on an office telephone system which was
configured to allow such things. Very few are.

2) This trick doesn't work on just general phone lines, so your home phone
and 99 3/4 business lines are safe.
