Please note, folks, that word is PLAGIARISM. (Not plagarism, plagerism, or any of the other variations on that theme.) The verb version is to plagiarize. By the way, its root is the Latin word "plagiarius," meaning "kidnapper." To plagiarize is, in effect, to kidnap someone else's words, plot, arrangement of ideas, et cetera, an image that might be helpful in conveying an understanding of the concept.
