Those of you who are dissatisfied with your present job and do not have
a dislocation phobia should seriously consider this the opportuntity of
a lifetime.  The New Haven Public Schools (a Library Power Site -
flexible scheduling, no "odd" duties, lots of collaboration, a great
Book Bowl program, a history of no layoffs, a plan to automate all the
media centers in the next few years) has the following openings for the
1998-1999 school year:
A K-4 school
A 3-5 school
A K-7 soon to be K-8 school
and two unique chances to start a media center from scratch -
A .5 position at a special needs middle school
A .5 at a special needs High School
These last two we are trying to fill as one job for the coming school
year but they will eventually evolve into two full time positions.
