Target:K-8 Library Program

Dear colleagues,
        Our community is starting the bid for a new K-8 school to be built
and I would like to read any articles or your insights on what a library
program for a combined elem. and middle school might be. In our district
it would most certainly only have one media specialist and probably not a
full time library aide.  So keeping that in mind, what elements do you
think it would be feasible to include in such a program.  If you know of
articles written on this topic, please include the source.  Respond
directly to me and TIA.  Have a wonderful summer.
