John and Others, The last time I received a message like that (and I believe it was through HotMail), I clicked on "Forward" then clicked on "Options" then "Mail Headers" and selected "All". That way I opened up *all* of the headers attached to the message. Then I e-mailed the whole thing to <abuse@hotmail.com>. I received an acknowledgement almost immediately. A week or so later, I received a very nice note from the listserv manager explaining the actions they had taken. It is very important that all mail headers show when you send it or they won't be able to trace it. Even at that, the message indicated that the e-mail the "spammer" used was a "cover" for his/her real location.
