Shortwave Radio in Foreign Language Classrooms

Do any of your the foreign language teachers in your high schools use
shortwave radio?  If so would they be willing to share what they do and
any resources they may use?  My daughter teaches Spanish in a high school
and is planning to try this next year.  Anton Ninno at AskLN has been a
