Hello LM_Netters: > A grandmother is interested in reading a folk tale her granddaughter = told her about. She mentioned the title "Rats, Bats, and Black = Puddings," indicating it was an American folk tale but is not entirely = sure if it's a tale, play, poem, etc. We searched "Storyteller's = Sourcebook" and a number of folklore classics from animal tales to tall = tales to general tales. Does this sound familiar to anyone. Patron = would be immensely appreciative of getting this information so she can = let her granddaughter (who lives in New Zealand) know she read the tale = and keep their email communication full of surprises. Thanks Everyone! Mary Ellen George mgeorge@clc.lib.oh.us Youth Services Librarian Grandview Heights Public Library 1685 W.
