Middle School Media Specialists

Dear Friends,

For the past 3 years I have worked as a media specialist in an
elementary school.  I have just accepted a position in a middle school
closer to home and I am looking for advice from you in working with
middle school students.  Could you give me advice in some or all of the
following areas?
        1.  What do you do for orientation?
        2.  How do you handle discipline problems that arise?
        3.  Do you have any lesson plans that seem to work that you would be
willing to share?
        4.  Do you have any ideas that seem to work well with this group.
        5. Any other advice you would be willing to give will be appreciated.
