GEN: Biography for Beginners, tech question

2 questions please:
1)  I have been interested in getting a subscription to Biography Today for
my p - 5 elementary school. Yesterday at the public library, I discovered
that there is an additional edition by the same people for younger kids.
Have any of you had any experience with this subscription?  It is called
"Biography For Beginners".  I need something lower-ability kids will use.
2) Can someone out there tutor me on "embedding" URL addresses into e-mail
messages?  I just can't seem to figure out the "code".  I would like the
URL address to be "clickable" for the teachers so that they could go
directly to the site without typing it in.  People keep sending embedded
URL's  to me, but won't tell me the secret!!
