84 Charring Cross Road

I am a big fan of the movie 84 Charring Cross Road. It stars Anne
Bancroft and Anthony Hopkins. In the movie Helen Hanff finds an ad in the
Saturday Review of Literature. In the movie it show the character (Anne
Bancroft) reaching for the Oct. 1, 1949 issue of the SRL. I have the
bound originals of the SRL and can not find the ad from Marks & Co. that
was suppose to be in that issue. That ad is what started the twenty year
correspondense between Helen and Frank Dole. If anyone is familiar with the
movie, would you know in what issue the ad is in? I would appreciate any
help you can give.
