Thanks to everyone for responding. These are some of the most detailed
answers I received.  "Ireland forever" was the consensus.

    It is Irish for " Ireland forever"  Ireland is called Eire in Irish.  A
greeting  that they might want to learn is "Caed Mile Failte"  (cad mile-ah
fault-ah is how my Aunt Josie taught me to pronounce it) which means "a
Hundred thousand welcomes"

Erin is the official name for Ireland.  This usage is from the
