Maybe all of us have some "wish list" ideas for books, mags, >supplies, etc. that we'd LOVE to buy/ subscribe to, but don't exist (yet!)? Here's my wish list. Books featuring major league sports teams for 1st and 2nd graders. Reading level doen't have to be quite this low, but lots of color pictures. Ditto for books on the military, cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc. I'd like to see the return of Hot Rod, Jr. which only published several issues; also other sports related magazines geared to the younger reader. I, too, would like more easy-to-read materials on most elementary topics. Even though a topic is in the 4th or 5th grade curriculum, it doesn't mean that all students read at this level. ------------ Karen Stevens, Librarian Valley Elementary School Bensalem, PA 19020 kstevens@bciu.k12.pa.us =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= To quit LM_NET (or set NOMAIL or DIGEST), Send an email message to listserv@listserv.syr.edu In the message write EITHER 1) SIGNOFF LM_NET 2) SET LM_NET NOMAIL or 3) SET LM_NET DIGEST NOTE: Please allow time for confirmation from Listserv.
