SEC: PREFER CALIF.: 4x4 schedule

Our school is currently on an ABABA block schedule.  Periods 1,3,5,7 one
day  and periods 2,4,6,8 on the next, etc.  We have been on this schedule
for four years and some of our teachers would like to look at other
schedules.  We are seriously considering the 4x4.  Please can I have
feedback on the effects of this schedule on student learning?  Teacher,
student, administration, and library teacher feedback--good and bad.  I've
read literature on the 4x4 but now would like some information from people
who are actually on the schedule.  Please e-mail me directly.  Thanks.  Our
next meeting to discuss the 4x4 is Thurs. 3/5.
