I am a middle school media specialist and have a daughter who is a middle school science teacher. She would like information on lessons plans, web sites, etc. to connect the topic of Black Death with medieval times. Any other suggestions of intergration would be of great help as well. Science and Social studies must share themes in common - just need ideas and 8000 minds are better than one.! Iwill pass those plans on to the appropriate teachers in our builidng as well since subject area integration is a goal of our school improvement team as well Charlotte Poole Library Media Specialist Reed Middle School 10254 California Road Bridgman, MI 49106 cpoole@remc11.k12.mi.us =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= To quit LM_NET (or set NOMAIL or DIGEST), Send an email message to listserv@listserv.syr.edu In the message write EITHER 1) SIGNOFF LM_NET 2) SET LM_NET NOMAIL or 3) SET LM_NET DIGEST NOTE: Please allow time for confirmation from Listserv. For example, is it different for primary, junior, intermediate and senior grades? Does it vary from classroom to classroom depending upon the software being used (ie. Courseware and/or tool-based software and educational software)? Does teacher-training have an impact on the formula? Do business course computers count in the ratio at the secondary level?
