After the Seuss

I got thank you notes today from the entire second grade for Dr. Seuss Day.
 The best one I had to share with another librarian -- so why not with
9,000.  One little girl wrote "I really loved all the Dr. Seuss books and
the whole day.  But my favorite books are all the ones that you wrote and
read to us when we come to library."

I usually begin my library class with -- let me tell you about my book
today -- or some such,   and the little love thought I wrote them all.

Somedays I couldn't stand to be anyone but who I am.
