The list was so long this week, that I stopped to figure percentages. 17% of books currently in circulation are now overdue. In a high school of 700 students, we send lists sorted by grade level to = the classrooms. The lists show only the names of the students, the due = dates, and the barcodes of the books. If a student wants titles, he = comes and asks. Students won't make reservations. They *know* there's a strong chance = they won't get the book. This is my first year in the building and I am aware I need to build a = degree of confidence in the students. Suggestions? Holly Wolf Palmyra-Macedon H.
